About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead our finance function. Key responsibilities include managing R&D projects, securing government grants (CDTI), and overseeing international operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, tax, and international trade. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and process optimization is essential. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage global teams are a must.

What you will do

  • Financial Control: KPI analysis, financial reporting, and cost control (OpEx).
  • R&D Grant Management: Full lifecycle management of R&D grants (CDTI, R&D reports).
  • Accounting: General accounting, P2P, O2C, and implementation of new accounting tools.
  • Tax: National and international tax compliance, tax management, and variance analysis.
  • International Trade: Financial operations, foreign exchange management, and international payments.
  • Supplier Management: Process optimization, eProcurement, and international payments.
  • Reporting: Periodic financial reports for the Finance Director.
  • Leadership: Team development and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Digital Transformation: Implementing and optimizing digital and automation processes.

What you will need

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Mastery of accounting software (SAP, financial ERPs) and advanced Excel.
    • In-depth knowledge of national and international tax regulations.
    • Proven ability to drive digital transformation and automation initiatives.
    • Strong analytical mind with excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.
    • Demonstrated proactivity, initiative, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
    • Fluency in English.
