About the role

We are looking for a COO (Chief Operating Officer) based in Madrid, Spain, to lead the company’s operations and ensure the efficient and sustainable growth of Applivery. This position will be key in defining and executing operational strategies, optimizing internal processes, and improving organizational efficiency, ensuring the company continues to scale in an agile and structured manner.

As the COO, you will work closely with the CEO and other key leaders to align operations with overall business strategy. You will be responsible for the daily management of operations, implementing efficient processes, and optimizing resources.

What you will do

  • Design and execute operational strategies that drive Applivery’s growth and efficiency.

  • Lead the planning and management of daily operations (new customer Ops, allocation and prioritization of internal processes and resources, legal/ backoffice/ procurement coordination) to ensure the execution of strategic objectives.

  • Develop and implement scalable processes to optimize efficiency across all company areas.

  • Oversee operations, finance, human resources, and customer service departments, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Improve organizational structure to facilitate company growth and expansion.

  • Establish and monitor key KPIs to evaluate operational performance and make data-driven decisions.

  • Work alongside the CEO in strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives.

  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure efficient operational alignment.

  • Lead risk management efforts and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

What you will need

  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, strategy, or business leadership, preferably in tech or SaaS companies.

  • Experience in managing international enterprise accounts and worldwide operations.

  • Previous experience in an operational leadership role, with a proven ability to scale operations and improve processes.

  • Strong knowledge of financial management, strategic planning, and organizational development.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate teams across different areas.

  • Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Experience in implementing tools and processes that optimize operational efficiency.

  • Advanced level of English and Spanish.
