About the role

As an Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Deploying, configuring, and optimizing Applivery’s Mobile Application Distribution (MAD) solution.
  • Working closely with customers, technical teams, and product managers to ensure the successful implementation of:
    • Enterprise app distribution workflows.
    • CI/CD integrations.
    • Security policies.

Your role will focus on helping organizations:

  • Distribute, manage, and update mobile applications securely.
  • Ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines, authentication protocols, and API-based automation.
  • Provide technical documentation, training sessions, and Level 2 technical support to ensure a smooth customer experience.

This role requires:

  • Deep expertise in mobile application deployment, API integrations, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

What you will do

Key Responsibilities

Project Deployment & Implementation

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of MAD, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for customers.
  • Configure enterprise app distribution workflows, including authentication and security settings.
  • Assist customers in integrating MAD with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise, Azure DevOps).

Solution Testing & Optimization

  • Perform pre-deployment testing, validating security and app signing.
  • Troubleshoot app distribution issues, build automation failures, and authentication errors.
  • Optimize performance and security settings for enterprise app distribution environments.

Technical Documentation & Training

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration guides, API usage manuals, and troubleshooting FAQs.
  • Deliver customer training sessions on best practices for app deployment, security policies, and compliance management.
  • Develop use case training materials to help customers maximize MAD’s capabilities.

Level 2 Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Act as an escalation point for Level 2 technical issues, assisting customers with debugging API calls, authentication errors, and deployment failures.
  • Troubleshoot mobile app distribution problems, including:
    • Certificate management.
    • Provisioning profiles.
    • App updates.
    • Permissions issues.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to escalate complex issues and provide feedback for future improvements.

  • Strong expertise in mobile application distribution, including:
    • Enterprise app deployment.
    • Provisioning profiles.
    • App signing and update management.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze logs, debug API calls, and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with enterprise authentication and security protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML, SCIM, API authentication keys).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear instructions for customers.
  • Proficiency in writing technical documentation and training materials.
  • Experience with REST APIs and API-based automation workflows is a plus.
